Become A Scout

Do you want to become a scout, or want to know more about scouting?

Below is a list of the sections (with age/grade ranges) along with their respective email to contact them to try out scouting. Furthermore, if you go to the respective pages, you can find the meeting day and times (in Danish).

We recommend that you come and try joining 1–2 meetings before you sign up officially.

After the 1-2 meetings, you can sign up here. The site is only in Danish, so contact us if you need help.

Membership Fee:

At Frie Fugle, we have a trip-inclusive membership fee. This means that all trips throughout the year (except the summer camp) are covered by the membership fee.

That way, you get the most value for your money by joining as many trips as possible.

Amount
The membership fee is the same for all sections and is 420 DKK per quarter.

However, family Scouts (FamilieSpejd) pay 550 DKK per year per family, and the full amount is either paid upon registration or invoiced in September. Family Scout members pay separately for trips and camps.

Payment
Payments are made quarterly via an email invoice, which can be paid by credit card.
It is possible to register your card for automatic payments so you don’t have to remember to pay each quarter.
If you need to change your registered payment card, this can be done through your profile in Medlemsservice (the membership system).

The first invoice covers the first 4 months, after which billing follows the schedule below:

January 30: January, February, March
April 30: April, May, June
July 30: July, August, September
October 30: October, November, December

Stopping Membership

When leaving the group, the membership fee must be paid up to and including the month in which the resignation is made, and any prepaid membership fees will not be refunded.
Resignations must be submitted to the group’s membership administrator at: udmeldelse@frie-fugle.dk.
